Sophie & David | Tithe Barn, Bolton Abbey

Sophie looked absolutely incredible in her dress, and David rocked his kilt, paying homage to his Scottish roots 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. Their dog, Riley, couldn’t make it on the day, but the life-sized cardboard cutout did… a brilliant (and hilarious) way to include your furry friend if they’re a bit too excitable for the big day. Although the energetic kiddos definitely made up for it!

The storm passed just in time, and the wedding gods clearly had their back, with dry skies and the most beautiful setting imaginable. The Tithe Barn, with its high wooden beams and rustic stone walls, is such a breathtaking space - full of warmth, character, and charm.

I loved capturing the getting ready part of the day, darting between their two B&Bs, literally across the road from each other, and seeing both sides of the story unfold. It’s such a privilege to witness a wedding day from start to finish like this…it never fails to amaze me!

Let’s not forget the bridesmaids and groomsmen too, who brought so much energy and fun to the day.

I first met these two in May for their bluebell couple shoot with Riley, and from the start they were such an easygoing, lovely pair. This was a laid-back, love-filled day in one of the most stunning settings in Yorkshire.

What a day, full of love, laughter and pure celebration. And we can’t forget Chester, their adorable pup who stole the show (and even made it onto the dance floor!!)

Kate and Rachel truly embodied what real love looks like. You could feel it in the way their friends and family celebrated them, and see it in how effortlessly the whole day flowed.

I always strive to capture those real, unposed moments that tell the story of the day as it truly was, and this wedding was full of them 🥰

From New York to Bury - Amy & Dylan brought some absolute vibes last weekend 🌍💃🕺

Plenty of tears and a dancefloor that went off!!

Reggae, dancehall, Irish songs, throwback dance tunes… the music was mega and reflected their families and personalities perfectly. By the end of the night, the room was bouncing and you could feel the love.

And to top it off - it also fell on Amy’s parents’ 34th wedding anniversary. How special is that? ❤️

When life gives you rain… you throw your first dance in it 🌧️🕺

What a beaut of a day with these 2 special people, who didn’t let the rain spoil the day, in fact they embraced it!

Umbrellas were bouncing, shoes got soaked, and by the end everyone was dancing in the downpour like it was the most natural thing in the world - you can’t get more romantic than that ☔️🤍

I always get asked what I do if it rains. As a documentary photographer, my job is to capture the day exactly as it feels, so I get stuck in. Saturday was pure joy, puddles n all !💦

Beaut of a day on Friday with Siobhan and James - honestly one of the nicest couples and family I’ve met - when I got given a little photographers survival kit goody bag upon my arrival, I could’ve cried!
