This day stayed with me.

Because even when plans had to change - everyone showed up regardless - rain and all. I’m endlessly grateful to be invited into days like this and trusted to capture them honestly. ☔️

“Where to start but with the deepest and most heartfelt thank you.

Booking our photographer was something we were both so nervous for, but there’s a sparkle to Theo that just pulled us in and let us relax.

We knew we didn’t want the stuffy out-of-the-box wedding photos, but the moments our guests could take away and truly cherish. With Theo we knew exactly how magical the photos would be from the get go, and let me tell you, we got so much more.

We made every right decision with Theo. We initially booked an engagement shoot to get to ‘know the ropes’, and this was more for ourselves; so that we wouldn’t be awkward or stood to attention on the day. I’d recommend this for any couple, as spending time with Theo before the big day (even for a drink) is amazing in itself.

We were blessed with compliments from our day, but our guests (and I think all of our guests) spoke so highly of Theo to us afterwards. He has a certain spark. He’s an amazing presence, he gets it, and he works with everyone on the day, knowing that all those parts make the whole.

Our wedding was yellow-weather-warning and biblically wet… so we got wet-wet, and had our first dance in the courtyard with all of our friends. In the middle of the carnage, Theo was stuck in. I don’t think you’d find many photographers who could roll up their sleeves and capture that feeling of Natasha Bedingfield feeling the rain on her skin as soon as the grooms decided to throw their pomp and ceremony out of the window and embrace the rain.

Our wedding photos are easily some of our most treasured things, and in 40, 50, 60 years will stand the test of time - we’ll still be looking back thrilled at what a party that was and thanking Theo even then. Our wedding was perfect, but it wouldn’t have been the same without him.”

My job is all about trust and helping you feel comfortable. Photography always comes first for me, business naturally follows!

So here’s a bit more about me, you’ll either like me or not, and that’s fine, there’s someone out there for everyone ☺️.

I work in a documentary way. Nothing is staged. I don’t direct the day - even your couple photos are achieved through purely natural moments, just the two of you vibing together!

I’m always watching for the in-between bits.
The funny and strange stuff. Those quiet, emotional moments too. I love to use what’s around me – light, space and people (or animals!).

Every wedding really is different and that’s what makes my job so interesting and exciting 🤩

So if you want photos that actually give you a feeling of how the day was, and also those moments that you missed, then we’ll probably be a good fit.

What a beautiful way to sign the year off with Alexis & Andy’s Wedding - made even more special because they’re good friends of mine ❤️

So many guests turned up that the ceremony had to be livestreamed… which honestly worked perfectly because some people could watch with a pint in hand and soak it all in! 🍺

The smiley-face umbrellas were such a fun touch too and made for some cool portraits ☂️

Some lovely speeches, then the dancefloor absolutely went off. At times it felt less like a wedding and more like we were living it large at the Hacienda or the @goldenlion_todmorden. Banging tunes and no holding back from anyone!! 💃 🪩 🕺🏻

A nice early Christmas present with an award from @inspirationphotographers_ for this moment back in September. I remember not wanting to leave the house - the energy was so good, and from that point I knew I was in for a very fun and special day!

This is exactly why I always recommend capturing the getting ready chaos. For one, it helps you get used to me being around, and two, you never know what might happen! These moments are full of nerves, laughs and general realness - one of my favourite parts of the day 🤩
